Checklists and Rules
Checklists and rules are used by the Sikoia's decisioning engine to automatically evaluate entity data and determine whether a case aligns with your specific policy requirements.
Rules
A rule evaluates whether a data field or set of data fields meets a pre-defined condition. For example:
- A lending company looking to process a
loan application
from a business/company might create a rule that evaluates whether or not a company's registration status is active. - A mortgage broker looking to process a
mortgage application
might create a real to evaluate whether or not the person applying for the mortgage shows up on any PEPs or Sanctions lists.
Within Sikoia, a rule can have one of three results: pass, refer or fail.
Checklists
A checklist is a group of one or more rules. Checklists are used to group rules that are related to a particular type of decision that a company wants to make.
Like a rule, a checklist can have one of three results: pass, refer or fail.
