Update about OAuth 2.0
A friendly reminder: Sikoia's API has migrated to the OAuth 2.0. protocol. For details on this migration, refer to our Authentication guide. We've extended the deprecation timeline for API key usage to November 30th, 2025; you can find the deprecation announcement here.
New Features
- New API endpoint for Completeness & Income Insights
- For API consumers who need to request both Completeness and Income Verification for a given entity and cannot use the existing separate endpoints we now offer a combined route that will verify both and return the combined results. Full API documentation can be found here .
Improvements and Fixes
- Income & Employer Verification from Payslips:
- Added new gross pay breakdown categories:
Arrrears,Salary Sacrifice. - Added new deductions breakdown categories:
Salary Sacrifice,Employer Pension. - Improved categorisation for several gross pay and deduction items.

- While still in beta, we listen to your feedback and have improved the data model to make it easier to reconcile income and tax data from Tax Documents.
- UI Integrity Checks: We've added several banking fields, after customer requests, that were only available on the API in the Sikoia Dashboard to help our Dashboard users!
- Improved Documentation
- We have updated our documentation for the types of income we support and the types of data we can surface for income and deductions. For more information, please see the page sikoia income types.
- We have also added a new page explaining how completeness checks work which better explains the intent behind this functionality.
Bug Fixes:
- Minor fixes to improve overall reliability and consistency.
- More detailed error messages are now surfaced when an integrity insight checklist fails so you can better understand why something failed a checklist.
