Update about OAuth 2.0

A friendly reminder: Sikoia's API has migrated to the OAuth 2.0. protocol. For details on this migration, refer to our Authentication guide. We've extended the deprecation timeline for API key usage to December 31st, 2024; you can find the deprecation announcement here.

New Feature

• Monthly Deduction Breakdown: We’re excited to announce that our Income & Employer Verification solution now provides a detailed breakdown of an individual’s employment deductions from gross pay. This includes categories like Income Tax, Employee Pension, Employer Pension, National Insurance, and Student Loans, offering deeper insights into the factors contributing to the difference between gross and net pay. For more details, check out our guides.

Improvements and Fixes

• New Fields Added to Income & Employer API Responses: We’ve added two new fields to our API responses: job_titles and tax_codes, giving you more information on a person’s role and tax bracket based on their payslip data.
• Smoother Orchestration for Insights: We’ve streamlined our process so that you no longer need to wait for documents to reach a complete status before requesting affordability insights or income & employer verification. Just upload the documents and request insights—we’ll take care of the rest.

We've also been busy squashing bugs. Our most recent fixes include:

• Fixed an issue with our GET/v2/income-employer/{request_id} endpoint that was preventing the data sources object from populating correctly for bank statements and was causing some student loan payment details to be returned incorrectly.
